China Pottery Trading Canada Ltd. is a specialized pottery trading importer based in Richmond, BC. We provide ceramics, restaurant utensils, god-worshiping supplies and fine crafts for many restaurants and families across Canada and U.S. A. We are expanding and looking to hire highly motivated candidates to excel in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
(1) Financial and Administrative Manager
JOB DUTIES
- Direct and coordinate the financial and administrative support activities of the company;
- Year-round financial duties of payroll, insurance, benefit plan, financial statements, management of accounts receivable and payable, PST/GST returns, reconciliation, financial reports, budget planning and operation, inventory management;
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements;
- Support the team in negotiating contracts with suppliers and corporate clients, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and internal controls;
- Oversee and support the administrative duties, data and records management, as well as the filing system and contribute to the development and optimization of administrative processes and work practice;
- Organize and maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment by communicating with the building manager and other venders;
- Assist in developing, documenting, and implementing internal controls; assist in identifying inefficiencies and revamping processes;
- Assist in the staff recruitment and training
QUALIFICATIONS
- Post-secondary education in accounting and minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior financial position
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
- High attention to timelines, detail and accuracy
- Strong skill-set in financial and administrative systems
(2) Sales Person
JOB DUTIES
- Be aware of customer activity, serve customers and meet customer needs
- Maintain appropriate stock levels
- Follow company standards of merchandise presentation, signage and display
- Support and maintain a neat, clean and safe workplace and adhere to safety requirements
- Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects
- Record inquiries, check inventory, and coordinate sales activities
- Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standard
- Contribute focused, well-managed efforts towards achievement on company goals
- Process orders and interact with customers via email, telephone, and provide quotations and effective solutions for customer inquiries and concerns
- Assist with other supporting duties as assigned by the management team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year experience in sales or customer service
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
- Great oral presentation skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
(3) Warehouse Assistant
JOB DUTIES
- Manage the logistics of all material to ensure proper storage and avoid congestion
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped on schedule in accordance with shipping manual procedures
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas
- Sort and place materials or items on rack, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style or product code
- Conduct general housekeeping duties within facility and assist with warehouse maintenance as required; take responsibility in the proper use, maintenance and safety of all tools and equipment
- Complete all duties assigned by the management team
- Assist in delivery of goods
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 years of warehouse management or sales experience
- Must have appropriate computer skills
- Experience with and ability to operate electric pallet jack and ground support equipment
- Ability to pay strong attention to detail and maintain accuracy
- Have a driver’s license and a good driving record
